'Happy Death Day' Review: Rinse, Die, Repeat!

🗡 Happy Death Day 🗡 Review 🗡 6/10 🗡

Directed by Christopher B. Landon

Starring: Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Rachel Matthews, Charles Aitken

So, last night I gave Happy Death Day a watch and although I loved the hole idea of using Groundhog Day and putting a murder/death twist on it, I was rather disappointed.

For a slasher movie there wasn't really any slashing, the gore was minimal, the thrills were poor and to be honest it wasn't scary in any way, I always knew what was gonna happen next, there was no suspense at all.

Basically this bitch called Tree keeps reliving the same shitty birthday over and over again until she solves why this is happening to her, after dieng a few times and living the same day over and over she has plenty of time to think and reflect on things and the first thing she figures out is that she is a first-rate bitch, therefore she decides to try right some wrongs in her life and get right with herself! Does she solve it?

The acting was ok, nothing special but then again nothing about this film was, the hole thing was just mediocre apart from the one life lesson: don't be a complete bitch. Don't recommend!
