'Mr. Robot' season 3 trailer: Welcome back Elliot!

Image
The SA Network dropped the newest trailer for the long-awaited and highly anticipated season 3 of the critically-acclaimed drama series  Mr. Robot . The trailer answers the question looming around us fans on the fate of our favourite protagonist Elliot but raises more questions as to how the consequences will pan out in the upcoming season. Schemes like Tyrell’s return at the end of the last season, the Dark Army going rogue, and Evilcorp asserting itself once again in the newly-crashed economy are also touched upon in the trailer above. Expect the return of  Mr. Robot  to premiere on October 11 at 10 p.m. EST on USA.

'Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie' Review: Surprsingly refreshing and rather funny!

Image
6.8/10 Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is a fun pick for primary schoolers and up. Based on the hugely popular book series which I definitely loved (when I was said Primary schooler) by Dav Pilkey, the story follows two prank-loving best friends who hypnotize their angry principal into believing he's Captain Underpants, the hero of the boys' many comic books. Based on the first book in the series, about a nearly naked superhero, this animated comedy is about friendship and is guaranteed to amuse the young kids in your life. You'll likely even laugh several times yourself, thanks to a rather good (unexpected) script and moments when the main characters break the fourth wall and talk directly to viewers. But here's the thing: You have to be OK with potty humor to enjoy Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. The good news is that there are also clear messages about the importance of friendship -- George and Harold realize that they don't have to be

We finally have official confirmation that filming has begun on Martin Scorsese's new Netflix original feature “The Irishman”

Image
So I found a ph oto that was originally sent in to  Bowery Boogi e which  has confirmed that filming has begun on Martin Scorsese’s new Netflix original feature “The Irishman”. Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Harvey Keitel and Joe Pesci star in the film about Frank Sheeran, a mob hitman allegedly involved in the death of Jimmy Hoffa. Along with this being Pacino’s first film with Scorsese, the movie will notably use digital effects to de-age De Niro as it charts Sheeran’s life over a long period. Filming is expected to continue through December ahead of a release on Netflix sometime in late 2018.

'Rough Night' Review: Oh dear...

Image
4/10 Rough Night is a dark, way over-the-top bachelorette-party-gone-wrong comedy starring our favourite Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson plus Kate McKinnon, and more. This isn't a bad movie, just a shameful one. Rough Night wants you to laugh at things that really arn't that funny (the deaths of three people), as well as things that used to be funny -- we've seen enough women acting up in films by now that the sight of them, say, snorting coke in a bathroom stall is no longer hilarious (it's just a cheap way to kill 5 minutes of a film). Jokes about tampons: No longer funny. Gags that involve a chubby character accidentally bowling someone over: No longer funny. An extended sequence that involves a man "sad astronaut"-ing on a road trip (wearing adult diapers so that he won't have to make bathroom stops): Very very much never funny. Particularly since said man inexplicably wears nothing but the diapers in the car -- he wouldn't put on pants over

'The Hitman' s Bodyguard' Review: The comedic banter between Jackson and Reynolds is utterly undeniable!

Image
7.7/10 The Hitman's Bodyguard is a violent, swearing-filled buddy action-comedy about two men who are experts with guns, but for different reasons: Samuel L. Jackson plays an infamous hit man, while Ryan Reynolds plays a (AAA) bodyguard-for-hire. This action-comedy is unnecessarily violent In so many necessary ways and the comedic banter between Jackson and Reynolds is utterly undeniable. If only the tone wasn't so uneven at times and if there was just a tad less bloodlust and a less over-the-top body count, The Hitman's Bodyguard would have been a perfect example of an odd-couple comedy bromance. No one's performance is a stretch: Jackson is a quick-witted, foul-mouthed, eyebrow-raising assassin (which suits him to a T as he has had plenty of time to perfect this kind of role since Pulp Fiction) who justifies his work. Reynolds is a sharp-tongued, super-detailed bodyguard who can't stop talking. No surprises there, but there was no guarantee the two stars wo

'Pilgrimage' Review: Bernthal and Holland are sensational!

Image
8.3/10 Pilgrimage” is about; a remote monastery, which is filled with penitent men and boy apprentices who labor on the land and guard a holy relic from Vikings, Normans and other infidels in the 13th century. Then a papal envoy arrives — “The Cistercian” (Paris-born actor Stanley Weber). “The Grey Foreigner” is arrogant and high-handed. Rome needs the relic. There’s a Crusade coming, and relics are good for recruiting. And he’s taking it. “Rome has spoken…there is no debate.” But just getting it out of Ireland will be a pilgrimage itself. “Infidels surround us…heretics.” He’s not just talking about Irish pagans either. So a small entourage is assigned to convoy the holy object, including the herbal healer Brother Ciaran (John Lynch), a brooding mute (Jon Bernthal) and a novice monk, Brother Diarmuid, played by Tom Holland (the new Spider-Man). On their journey they will face superstitions, clan infighting and savage treachery and each will be severely tested. As “No one but t

Netflix confirm second series for 'Friends from College' and a slew of other new Netflix series!

Image
According to Deadline, Netflix has given an eight-episode second-season order to the hilarious Friends From College. The renewal comes a month after it was released on July 14. Friends From College stars the stupendous Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park as a sextet of friends from Harvard in interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships with one another who face down their 40s. While Friends From College garnered largely lukewarm reviews from critics, it has been better received by regular viewers and features one of the strongest casts assembled on a comedy series. Stoller created and directs the series, and Delbanco serves as a writer. Friends From College joins a slew of other new Netflix series to debut in 2017 that have been renewed for a second season, including Ozark,   13 Reasons Why, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Marvel’s Iron Fist, One Day at a Time, Santa Clarita Diet, Dear White People and GLOW.

New Fantastic Four movie is in the works, but its not what you think!

Image
According to Bleeding Cool, more details on there previous rumour has come to light, that a kids-focused Fantastic Four movie focusing on the children of Reed and Sue Richards, Franklin and Valeria, is actually in the works. Now according to the site, the movie is, bizarrely, not going to be based on any particular Marvel comics, but is instead (allegedly) going to be based on Mark Millar and Curtis Tieg’s Kindergarten Heroes comic series. The comic, about a team of cutesy toddler superheroes, actually never went to print, but was optioned at Fox for a movie shortly after it was announced. Allegedly, instead of turning Kindergarten Heroes ’ proposed story and characters into a movie, Fox wants to rework it into a Fantastic Four film, which was previously claimed as starring Franklin and Valeria alongside the Human Torch and the Thing for standalone, Incredibles -esque adventure fully removed from the world of the turgid FF reboot. As always, take reports like this with a pi

According to Martin Lawrence Bad Boys for Life' is completely Dead!

Image
After first confirming that pre-production was underway three years ago, actor Martin Lawrence has now revealed that he does not think there will be a third 'Bad Boys.' The film, titled “Bad Boys for Life,” was set to have Lawrence and Smith reprise their iconic roles of Detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery in a Joe Carnahan-scripted sequel. Two years ago Sony was rather bullish on the possibility, scheduling an early (unbelievable) 2017 release and even slating a July 2019 release date for a fourth film. However things kept being being pushed back, the film’s director exited and then the project was officially removed from Sony’s release slate of forthcoming feature length productions. Speaking with EW, Lawrence has now effectively said the film is dead: “I don’t think we’re going to get one, not the way everything’’ turning out, Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

Joker origin story has been confirmed and Scorsese will be producing: Less of a DC movie, more of a gritty and grounded hard-boiled crime film set in early-‘80s Gotham City

Image
Last year Jared Leto followed in the footsteps of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger, introducing his own take on the crazy Clown Prince of Crime. Having only had a supporting role in Suicide Squad, The Joker’s future in the DC Expanded Universe has recently been in question. Now Deadline are reporting that a Joker origin story is in the works, led by The Hangover’s Todd Phillips, who will direct while writing the script with Scott Silver (8 Mile). Martin Scorsese is on producer duties, so what's happening with Leto’s incarnation? Well it turns out the origin story will be completely separate from the DCEU movies, allowing for Warner Bros to have multiple storylines featuring different actors. So movie fans will be looking forward to another Joker who is not a younger version of Leto’s incarnation seen in Suicide Squad. Nevertheless fans of Leto don't have to worry as he will return for Suicide Squad 2 and Harley Quinn spin-off Gotham City Sirens, both of which are s

'The Light Between Oceans' Review: One of the best depressing films I have seen!

Image
The Light Between Oceans is based on M.L. Stedman's best-selling novel by the same name. Like the book, the movie is based around a melancholic set of events. The mood is pretty gloomy and intense overall as the film explores grief, death, marriage, motherhood, and xenophobia. Grief is palpable in this beautiful, heartbreaking drama which is intensified by Fassbender, Vikander, and Weisz' formidable performances. The cinematography is excellent -- the landscape is a match to the epic story of pain and distance that The Light Between Oceans tells. Director Derek Cianfrance, who adapted the movie from the best-selling novel by M.L. Steadman, takes great pains to build the audience's investment in Tom and Isabelle as characters before slowly dismantling the happy life he establishes for them early on right before our very eyes. But let's be clear here: This movie isn't for the faint of heart. It's brutal in its own retrospect, intimacy torn apart and a grief

'The Hateful Eight review: Quentin is undeniably a genius!

Image
8.4/10 Quentin Tarantino ' The Hateful Eight  is a Western about  eight strangers who seek refuge from a blizzard in a stagecoach  stopover some time after the American Civil War . It pro mises -- and delivers -- a metric ton of extremely  strong violence in typical Tarantino fashion. Tarantino's eighth movie is long, moving inevitably toward an expected, brutally violent climax -- but along the way the colorful characters and playful dialogue provide a twisted good time. The one-room pressure-cooker setting, plus the presence of Michael Madson and Tim Roth , may remind viewers a little of Reservoir Dogs , which can be both good and bad.   That film's clever, sinister structure left audiences wanting more, whereas the lengthy, bonkers The Hateful Eight gives up everything (and the kitchen sink) which I appreciate because as simple as the premise/set-up all seems, the characters' motivations are often deliberately deceptive. Long dialogue sequences exist for

Guillermo Del Toro to remake the 1966 film 'Fantastic Voyage'

Image
A new report over at  Omega Underground   indicates that 20th Century Fox is aiming to begin production on the remake of 1966’s “Fantastic Voyage” in January in Toronto. The film revolves around a team of scientists who have been shrunk to atomic size and sent in a miniature submarine inside the body of a scientist to save his life. In early 2016 word came that the wonderful filmmaker Guillermo del Toro was in talks to direct the project and, should this be true, it would be his immediate next project after his upcoming Fall title “The Shape of Water”. The project would mark a reunion of sorts for Guillermo with his “Blade 2” scribe David Foyer working on the script, while his buddy James Cameron is producing alongside Jon Landau and Rae Sanchini.

Frank Grillo and Iko Uwais are kicking-ass in new trailer for 'Beyond Skyline': Check it out!

Image
To this day you probably don’t even remember that the 2010 movie Skyline exists. It’s one of those scifi movies that came and went very quickly because it was just so, tragically bad. Today, though, we had just got a trailer for Beyond Skyline , which seems like a spin-off sequel, and the trailer is surprisingly awesome. Directed by Liam O’Donnell, who co-wrote the original film, Beyond Skyline stars Frank Grillo, who tends to be amazing in everything, from The Purge films to the Captain America films. It also stars Iko Uwais, who gained fame in The Raid series (as well as for being a member of Kanjiklub in The Force Awakens ) and he will be teaming up with his rival enemy from the first Raid movie,Yayan Ruhian . That cast, already, is a big step up from the first film. (No offense, Eric Balfour). Plus, the sequel really seems to blow out the effects and action, in contrast to the original, which was much more isolated. Check it out. Things certainly start shaky there, and

'Me before you' review: This movie has the tendency to be infururiating and charming to viewers!

Image
6.5/10 Me Before You is a romantic drama based on Jojo Moyes' moving novel about a young woman (Emilia Clarke) in a tiny English town who takes the job of caring for an unhappy man (Sam Claflin) left paralyzed after being hit by a motorcycle. This movie treads a tricky thin line, both infuriating and charming viewers. The charm can be chalked up to star Clarke; she makes Lou the type of beguiling creature who is, quirky, irreverent, and usually irresistible. Which is also where the infuriation comes in: The MPDG (manic pixi dream girl) usually serves the function of making a male protagonist feel lightened and leavened, without experiencing much development herself. (All we really know about Lou in the movie is that she's cheery, optimistic, and kind; wears horrible clothing; and dreams of being in fashion in some vague way, we didn't really find out much else about her compared to the book (people have told me). And then there's the fact that Me Before You  f

'Baywatch' Review: What the f*** did I just watch!

Image
What a shame to take this charming cast and surround them in a sea of stale jokes and sub-sitcom-level plot twists in a remake that reads as a complete missed opportunity. There are a few moments when  Baywatch  seems to have a sense of humor about its cheesy origins and the silliness of a remake. I.e.  lifeguards who sneak into a fancy party in order to catch a drug dealer... It sounds like the plot of a "far-fetched TV show" (if you know what I mean). But such ironic high points are few and far between in this comedy that reaches for "escapist summer humor" but instead lands on "embarrassment for all involved." Even The Rock can't make us love a movie with three running jokes about penises, none of which is funny or original.  But it's other issues that render this movie icky, rather than just bland and forgettable: The female characters are sidelined, given little to do besides run slowly up and down the beach and smile patiently as the

'Doctor Strange' Review: Marvel Magic!

Image
8.3/10 Marvel's 14th Cinematic Universe movie ('Doctor Strange') has all the usual action and explosions, but it also has a different type of main character, one who's magical and appealingly flawed but willing to change. Chiefly known as a horror director, helmer Scott Derrickson unexpectedly adds plenty of playfulness and humor to a story that could have been steeped in self-serious exoticism and mysticism. It helps that Cumberbatch and Swinton, as well as Benedict Wong as the keeper of the spellbook library, bring so much personality to their roles. Most of  Doctor Strange 's seriousness is a burden carried by Chiwetel Ejiofor's Mordo character, but comic fans will at least know the reason why and he does it very well. Unfortunately, the best character moments tend to cool down and fizzle out during the big action sequences. But some of those scenes, which have beautiful "folding" effects as the sorcerers change the environment around them,

George Clooney has cut Josh Brolin from upcoming movie 'Suburbicon': Here's what he had to say!

Image
Lots of reports had confirmed Josh Brolin would appear in the ’50s-set drama but, after he filmed the scenes, Clooney (who directed the feature) made the tough decision to cut the actor from the film completely. And he did it in an “awful note”. Clooney told Entertainment Weekly Brolin’s scenes were the “funniest in the movie” but they just didn’t work because of that very reason. “We shot a couple of scenes with Josh [playing] a baseball coach that are really, really funny,” he said. “But after we did our first screening, the one thing that became really clear to me was that [the scenes] let the air out of the balloon, in terms of the tension in the film. I had to write him this awful note where I just said, ‘You’re not going to believe it, but these scenes really don’t work any more.’ He felt bad, and he thought maybe something went wrong, and I said, ‘I’m sending you the scenes, so you can see, they’re actually the two funniest scenes in the movie.’" Clooney, who co-

Is 'Hannibal' coming back for sason 4? With its original cast! Check out what Bryan Fuller had to say!

Image
I'm so pumped! Hannibal was one of the best shows on television, period. Like most great television shows it didn’t get its due and was canceled not long before it won a Saturn Award due to its small cult fanbase (didn't get enough viewers). Creator Bryan Fuller along with the extremely dedicated fanbase have never really given up hope that the series would return someday. Fuller has said that they couldn’t start talking about bringing the series back until atleast two years after the finale had aired. That was August of 2015 and when a fan recently asked Fuller if the talks had started he confirmed that they have and that Producer Martha De Laurentiis is on it like sonic. Conversations couldn't start until 2 years after the final airing of season 3. @neoprod has started those conversations. This takes time. — Bryan Fuller (@BryanFuller) 9 August 2017 Meeting of the minds @BryanFuller #Fannibals pic.twitter.com/WtUSEcPm0y — Martha De Laurentiis (@neopr

'Logan' Review: The end of an Era, The birth of a Legend!

Image
9.6/10 In every minute, every frame, every moment, Logan feels like the Wolverine movie Hugh Jackman has been waiting (and training) for the last 17 years to make. Set free of a PG rating, this wildly kinetic film has plenty of gore, action and violence pumping through its veins. But what makes this one of the finest superhero movies ever produced is the big, but somewhat broken heart beating at its core. Set in a grim near-future where the mutant species is dwindling , we meet an unthinkable incarnation of our favourite enclawed superhero: one who's decidedly past his prime. This is not the near-immortal Wolverine we remember, but Logan (Jackman): a broken, far older man who feels the weight of every wound inflicted upon him. His body tattooed with scars that aren't healing as fast or as well as they used to. It's only his determination to keep the ailing, ageing Professor Charles Xavier (Stewart) safe and alive that never falters. The film's plot kicks into over

'The Bad Batch' review: Are you hungry? You won't be after this flick!

Image
8/10 The Bad Batch is a somewhat experimental dystopian movie that deals with cannibalism, among other mature topics, so you can expect plenty of violence, including cutting arms and legs clean off, guns and shooting, dead bodies, blood spatters, beating, fighting, and stabbing. Though definitely not for mainstream tastes, Ana Lily Amirpour's crazy, beautiful film feels like an arthouse movie from an earlier time (and that is not a bad thing), more of a dare than a comfort, more active than passive. The Bad Batch takes a few pointers from defiant, creepy movies like the Mad Max series, and The Hills Have Eyes, but it's different in its own unique way. Amirpour's compositions are extraordinary, using such powerful depth of space as well as odd, striking contrasts in nearly every shot. She favors silence over dialogue, though music is important and she definitely loves weird. The Bad Batch is funny, horrifying, magical, awful, and beautiful, with so many great m

'The Villainess' Review: The best action movie of 2017, Makes 'John Wick' look tame!

Image
9/10 There’s a plot turn late in  The Villainess  that’s guaranteed to leave you thinking two things in order, firstly hey that's fu**ing ridiculous, and second, I really should have expected this exact story turn from this kind of film. It’s a distraction of sorts, but happily it’s one that pales beside the sheer kinetic beauty of the film’s action sequences and its star, Kim Ok-bin ( Thirst ). The film opens with a first-person POV assault on a gangster’s hangout that pairs technical wizardry with graphic violence while ramping up the excitement and wide-eyed wonder. The carnage ends (at the perfect time and cleverly  shifted away from the first-person angle just when you start wondering if the next two hours of your life are going to be a video game you aren’t in control of ) with the arrest of a blood-drenched young woman named Sook-hee (Kim), but her time in custody is short-lived as a government agency snatches her up with plans on putting her intense fighting skills

'Preacher' Season 2 episode 5 Review: Dallas

Image
★★★★☆ The previous episode left us hanging as Tulip admitted to being married to Viktor, an elusive new figure in the show that we really don’t know to much about. This episode continues on from there, as Jesse uses Genesis to make Tulip leave, strings Viktor up on his own torture device and starts wondering whether to kill him or not. ‘Dallas’ is basically a short collection of flashbacks of the aftermath of Carlos' betrayal. Just to hammer across the point that we’ve never seen Jesse more lost, the camera takes great care to show him, and their stoner roommate Reggie tearing pieces of the Bible to use for rolling paper. Again, nothing that is incredibly new to the viewers. The safe, yet unhappy lifestyle ends when he finds Tulip’s stash with ill-gotten cash and birth control pills. That’s the last straw that breaks their relationship up and pushes him over the edge and in turn he takes that anger/frustration out on Reggie: Jesse then decides to return to Annville

'Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Review: Marvel's favorite motley crew of reformed outlaws is back for another space adventure full of classic tunes from Fox on the run to Mr. Blue sky, epic battles, and charming comedy!

Image
8.8/10 Marvel's favorite motley crew of reformed outlaws is back for another space adventure full of classic tunes from Fox on the run to Mr. Blue sky, epic battles, and charming comedy. So many people have told me how they preferred this one to the first and boy do I have to say I agree it is just as awesome as the original, if not better. Set to the soundtrack of Meredith Quill's Awesome Mix Tape #2, which she bequeathed to her beloved young Peter, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2  moves the group's story forward, primarily for the orphaned Star Lord, who's always wondered exactly who his Star Man dad was and why he up left him and his mother behind on Earth. Russell is an ideal pick to play Ego, the celestial god (lowercase "g") who hired Yondu to bring his son to him 26 years earlier. Without getting into specifics, this father-son dynamic, in classic Marvel origin-story style, is the driving force behind the tension and action in the second half of the

Is 'Star Wars' star Riz Ahmed going to play Carnage alongside Hardy in Sony's 'Venom?'

Image
Venom  is slated to open October 5th of next year, with Tom Hardy as the lead but with no apparent ties to  Spider-Man: Homecoming , as this spin-off is not in the Marvel Cinematic Universe according to Marvel head Kevin Feige. Sony is solely handling  Venom , and previous rumors made it sound like Hardy will be playing an anti-hero instead of a villain, with Carnage being the bigger bad. That rumor is getting more complicated in light of the newest casting updates. This rumour could potentially be the most exciting and confusing news for me so far this month, here we go, try and keep up : Variety  have reported the sensational Riz Ahmed ( Rogue One: A Star Wars Story , HBO’s  The Night Of ) is in “early talks” to play a “popular Marvel Comics character,” but THR claims the script has changed and Carnage is no longer the role Ahmed is being considered for (although Carnage may still be in it). A different villain has reportedly been added, but The Tracking Board says, “One indiv

New X-Men show 'The Gifted' Gets a new promo and it just keeps looking better and better!

Image
From the all-powerful eye of Matt Nix ( Burn Notice, Complications) comes  The Gifted,  a brand new X-Men show coming to Fox, that  follows two regular parents ( Angel 's Amy Acker and True Blood 's Stephen Moyer) who discover that their kids may just have a few  (awesome) surprising superpowers. After they're forced to flee, the family must fight to stay alive, even if that means finding other mutants to give them a helping hand. Here's a brand new  promo for the Marvel series, which isn't too far away from our screens now and I'm so pumped!!

Here's what I think about 'The Lost City of Z'

Image
7/10 Lost City of Z is a a fact-based historical adventure/drama about the search for a lost Amazonian city. James Gray makes intelligent, good-looking, grown-up movies that are admirable but somehow rather held back; this real-life adventure tale is a more sprawling work. Gray (We Own the Night, Two Lovers, The Immigrant) is steeped in the cinema of the 1970s, but I don't think that helped him in this case, it was a bit lacklustred in almost every department, instead of exploring the full depths of the adventure I fealt it spent a bit to much time on his family (I love family but there was so much more that could of been told and so much left unsaid). But there's no denying that it's expertly made. The Amazon footage is harrowing and realistic; you can feel the bugs buzzing around, as well as the supreme heat, humidity, and exhaustion. The images have a high-class, measured realism and complexity of character; no one here is merely a hero or a villain, not even Mac

'A message from the King' Review: Does Boseman pull off being a bad-aas?

Image
7.4/10 Message from the King is a 2016 American revenge-action-thriller film directed by Fabrice Du Welz and written by Stephen Cornwell and Oliver Butcher. It stars Chadwick Boseman, Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, and Alfred Molina. I saw it pop up on Netflix and was like oh look there's the black panther Chadwick the "King" Boseman I got to check this out. Therefore I did and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. Basically The film's plot revolves around a man (Jacob King) from South Africa who travels to Los Angeles in order to find his younger sister at first.... then it turns into a massive revenge thriller (like I hope to think any of us would). The supporting cast was great, some talented stars bringing there spectacular presence to the screen, like Luke Evans especially as a sneaky little snake of a dentist in the drug game. Teresa Palmer as the hooker/loving mum (but she only does blowjobs). Then there was the main man Chadwick, I love this guys Accent

'Stranger Things' director to team up with James Wan for comic book adaption 'Malignant Man'

Image
According to THR, 20th Century Fox has recruited  Stranger Things  director Becca Thomas to direct an adaptation of James Wan‘s comic series (that I don't really knoe much about),  Malignant Man . T he Conjuring  and Aquaman filmmaker is attached to produce  Malignant , which is based on the Boom! Studios comic he co-created with writer  Michael Alan Nelson  ( Hexed ) and artist  Piotr Kowalski . Boom!’s   Ross Richie and   Stephen Christy  will also produce alongside Wan, operating through his Atomic Monster label. So as i know jack sh** about this, i had to check it out and this is what i found out: The sci-fi thriller follows Alan Gates, a man diagnosed with terminal cancer and resigned to his imminent death until he discovers that his tumor isn’t deadly cancer but a mysterious alien parasite living inside him. Gates not only gets a new lease on life, he discovers extraordinary powers and “must fight against an evil army buried beneath society’s skin, all the while unloc
