Shia LaBeouf Is Making And Starring In A Film Based On His Troubled Life!

Image
I have just come across some of the coolest news so far this year, well, for me anyway... Shia LaBeouf has announced that he will be making a movie based on and around his own life in which he will be playing his 'law-breaking, alcohol-abusing' father. The upcoming film will be titled Honey Boy, which was actually LaBeouf's childhood nickname. I have followed Shia's life story for years, he is genuinely one of the most interesting celebrities in the business. He rose to fame as a child star in Even Stevens but he then had a few troubled years; he has most recently re-emerged from a period of silence following his arrest in 2017 for racially charged expletive-laced disorderly conduct in Georgia, US. Lucas Hedges, who was Oscar-nominated for Manchester By The Sea, will play Shia opposite the actor, who will play his own father.

According to The Wrap, the film will portray Batman’s arch-nemesis as a failed 1980s comedian who develops the Joker persona after bombing with audiences. • Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero are collaborating with each other again in there new film called 'Scary Love.' Check the Trailer on YouTube. Will it be another cult classic? • Fans have finally been given there first look at Zachary Levi in full costume for 'Shazam' and I have to say it's the most comic accurate costume since Reeves' Superman. Not only do we get our first look at Captain Marvel, we also get our first look at one of his most powerful adversaries, D...

Promo For 'Legion's Second Season Tells Us The First Season Might Not Of Even Been Real!

Image
We’re not delusional—Legion‘s first super trippy season was absoluetly fantastic. However now we have to ask ourselves if anything we saw during it actually happened, because a new teaser for the upcoming second season wants us to know that everything we “think is real never occurred.” And even scarier, that everything that is coming is “very, very real.” The ominous, stylish new teaser features Aubrey Plaza‘s Lenny back in the psychiatrist chair treating us as her confused patient, telling us our experiences watching season one were merely projections of our repressed sexuality and broken psyche. She informs us that we’re all delusional, and that David, his friends, what happened to them last season, and even her, were not real. Anticipation Level: 99% Excitement Level: 99%

D.C News: Joaquin As The Joker, Bay To Direct Lobo! Make Of It What You Will!

Image
I have two bits of news for you on this dark and gloomy night that revolve around the somewhat dark and gloomy universe that is D.C. The first one that's bouncing around the internet is, Michael Bay to direct a 'Lobo' movie for D.C aslong as the budget is right. I do not like the sound of this at all, I cannot stand Michael Bay and what he does to films, he's like a glorified teen that's been let loose on set, the way he cuts scenes, edits, the lack of substance, lack of logic, the cinematography and sound editing, I think that's about it. I love Lobo and I don't want him to be ruined by the likes of Michael Bay. Now, here's the second piece of movie news that's also bouncing around the internet like wildfire. Joaquin Phoenix is rumoured to be in talks with D.C over the role of 'The Joker' in a stand-alone movie directed by 'The Hangover' director, Todd Phillips. I love Phoenix, he's great, unique and just an all-round top ...

Image
Great news for all you 'Big Bang' fans! Ted Bundy movie update: Jim Parsons, best-known for playing Sheldon in hit comedy series The Big Bang Theory, will portray Larry Simpson, the lead prosecutor during Bundy’s highly televised 1979 murder trial, leading to his execution in 1989, in the film. He joins Zac Efron, Lilly Collins and John malkovich. This keeps getting more interesting!

A24's New Horror 'Hereditary' Looks Terryfing! Check It Out!

Image
Don't do what I did and watch the first full trailer for A24's Hereditary at night with earphones in on full volume. Seriously. The movie—which stars Toni Collette, Ann Dowd, and Gabriel Byrne—absolutely set the Sundance Film Festival on fire. Word of mouth has already reached "audience members barfing in the aisles," Exorcist levels of hype. From the mind-bending first image closing in on what appears to be a perfect miniature home only to enter a very real bedroom, the trailer clues you in to the fact you're not watching cuts from any old horror movie. And It only spirals from there, getting crazier by the second, played alongside one of the most haunting background symphonys I've ever heard!

Director Luca Guadagnino Is Already Planning On Two Sequels For 'Call Me By Your Name'

Image
Currently showing in a limited 815 theaters, Best Picture nominee Call Me By Your Name has only earned $9 million thus far, which to me suggests that most movie fans have probably not yet seen the film (including me). Even so, director Luca Guadagnino is already planning on following Call Me By Your Name up with two more sequels to form his own equivalent to Richard Linklater’s Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight trilogy. Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer starred in Call Me By Your Name as 17-year-old and 24-year-old Americans, respectively, who fall in love in rural Italy back in 1983. According to Guadagnino, the sequel will be set five years later in 1988, and shift the focus more towards the height of the HIV and AIDS epidemic. So far, all I have heard Is ample good things about Call Me By Your Name, which only leads me to think the second will be just as good as the first if not better. I'm even more excited to wat...

'Pacific Rim Uprising' New Trailer Is The Stuff Of Geeks Dreams!

Image
WOW! I have only just caught onto the second trailer for 'Pacific Rim Uprising' that was released just 3 days ago and I have to say, it's really fulfilling all of my geeky dreams and expectations. My inner geek is ready to burst out! I mean what film/game nerd doesn't dream about some sort of monstrous robot, being a hero or a legend or even both, fighting monsters, villains or Kaiju. It's a no brainer, at some point in our lives I am sure we all have, wether it's in your subconscious buried away with all the other childhood dreams or there still to this day as fresh in your mind as the rain outside. This trailer provides us with some more detail on what the sequel might entail; there is a traitor in the midst, someone is letting the Kaiju in from our side and there's Kaiju flooding in, bigger, badder and beastier. Not only do we get a hole bunch of new pilots, Jaegers and Kaiju, we get a BAD JAEGER, a BIG BAD JAEGER and it looks fooking epic! Swipe r...

'Captain Marvel' First Photos Of Brie Larson Suited And Booted! Loving The Classic Green!

Image
Oscar winner, Brie Larson, 28, was photographed in costume as Captain Marvel for the first time Wednesday afternoon while filming in Atlanta. Larson is signed on to play Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who gains superpowers after her DNA is fused with an alien following an accident, in the 1990s-set “Captain Marvel.” It will be the first Marvel solo film to focus on a female character. She can be seen wearing a green suit, that borrows heavily from the comics. Unlike recent Avengers outfits that have been stocked with new tech, the costume shares more in common with Captain America’s from The First Avenger (only because Stark hasn't got his hands on it yet). The movie, which will be directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, is expected to hit theaters on March 8, 2019.

HBO Have Released A Teaser For There Upcoming Movie 'Fahrenheit 451!'

Image
Ray Bradbury's classic "Fahrenheit 451" is about to burst into flame via an upcoming HBO movie, and the network released its first teaser a few days back on Thursday. Michael B. Jordan ("Black Panther") and Michael Shannon ("Shape Of Water") star in the movie version of Bradbury's 1953 classic novel about a future where books are outlawed. Jordan plays one of the future firemen who torch all the tomes, with Shannon as his captain. The new epic short teaser doesn't reveal anything to big, like characters or anything, but there's an eerie scene of someone holding a copy of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment" as it blazes up, then dropping it onto a pile of other classics, including J.D. Salinger's "Catcher in the Rye." Is anyone as excited for this as I am? I love Shannon, I Love the idea and I'm loving the actor that Jordan is turning out to be!

Millie Bobby Brown To Join The Holmes Family!

Image
Since they’re on such a phenomenally popular Netflix series, the young stars of Stranger Things are obviously going to be in very high demand for future projects in the coming years. However, due to their ages and the specific ages of their characters, their careers are, for the time being, solely intertwined with the show, that's completely understandable considering it's very time sensitive and them kids are growing FAST! Although, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, did fit next year’s Godzilla: King of Monsters (3/22/19) in between S1 and S2, and now we know what might fit in between S3 (which starts filming soon) and S4. Millie Bobby Brown is now signed up with Legendary Entertainment (the company behind Godzilla: King of Monsters) to star in a series of films based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries by author Nancy Springer. As the title suggests, Enola is the (much) younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes who has been fe...

John Wick Spin-Off Series 'The Continental' Lands At Starz And They've Got Themselves A Great Writer!

Image
Great News as Starz CEO Chris Albrecht confirmed that they and Lionsgate are developing the previously rumored television series adaptation of the “John Wick” franchise. “The Continental” will be set in the John Wick universe, more specifically in a hyper-real version of Los Angeles, and it's focus is on the inner workings of the exclusive Continental Hotel which serves as a refuge for assassins. Chris Collins (“Sons of Anarchy,” “The Wire”) will write the series and serve as showrunner which I'm rather happy about. Collins, Basil Iwanyk, Chad Stahelski, Derek Kolstad, David Leitch and Keanu Reeves will all executive produce while Stahelski, who co-helmed the first film and directed the second solo, will direct the premiere episode. Starz will retain all domestic multiplatform pay TV and SVOD rights, while Lionsgate has all international and domestic distribution and home entertainment rights.
