New Fantastic Four movie is in the works, but its not what you think!

According to Bleeding Cool, more details on there previous rumour has come to light, that a kids-focused Fantastic Four movie focusing on the children of Reed and Sue Richards, Franklin and Valeria, is actually in the works. Now according to the site, the movie is, bizarrely, not going to be based on any particular Marvel comics, but is instead (allegedly) going to be based on Mark Millar and Curtis Tieg’s Kindergarten Heroes comic series. The comic, about a team of cutesy toddler superheroes, actually never went to print, but was optioned at Fox for a movie shortly after it was announced.

Allegedly, instead of turning Kindergarten Heroes’ proposed story and characters into a movie, Fox wants to rework it into a Fantastic Four film, which was previously claimed as starring Franklin and Valeria alongside the Human Torch and the Thing for standalone, Incredibles-esque adventure fully removed from the world of the turgid FF reboot. As always, take reports like this with a pinch of salt.
