Why you need to put Netflix's new upcoming crime series 'Mindhunters' on your watch list!

LOOK OUT! Anticapition levels are off the Richter scale for this one! And by the sounds of it, it's not just me as Mindhunter has already been renewed for a second season and it's not even hit our screens yet.

BASICALY, Mindhunter is based on the book Mind Hunter: inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, written by Mark Olshaker and John E Douglas who was one of the first people who began speaking to murderers and later set up the FBI's Criminal Profiling Programme. He's spoken to the worst of the worst, including Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, David Berkowitz and many more. It was from those interviews and carefully examining crime scenes, that he was able to develop a system that helps detectives catch serial killers.

Netflix's series is based on Douglas's work as well as his struggle to get his work noticed.

Jonathon Groff and Holt McCallany play two FBI agents, John E Douglas and Robert Ressler, who talk to (well try to) imprisoned murderers in order to crack ongoing cases and catch serial killers!

I really can't wait for this, not just because Fincher is behind it or because Charlize Therone is a producer, or even because of the superior streaming service that is Netflix owning it and putting there stamp all over it, but because of the real story and because of the book and the brilliant idea behind it that is the real thrill. But yes all the above play apart too. October (friday) 13th is to far away. So just keep re-watching the trailer!
