'Daredevil' Movie Review: The worst Marvel film ever!

😈 My Worst Marvel Movie Ever 😈 Daredevil 😈 Review 😈 3/10 😈

Here lies the main reason as to why I fell out of favour with Ben Affleck. Ever since this film I have never been able to look at him the same, he killed my darling Daredevil with a horrendous performance and it took something spectacular for it to be revived (thank you Charlie Cox and Netflix). Let's face it he's a mediocre actor, always has been (Dogma, Good Will Hunting, Paycheck and many, many more) and always will be, (Runner Runner, Live By Night, Batman VS Superman) he use to be in Matt Damon's shadow now he's in Batman's. He has no substance what so ever and almost every role he has ever had is virtually the same, always rocking the same gormless look. Anyway enough of the Ben bashing, I digress...

The fights are very good, but it's clear that's where most of the creative energy went in this movie. Affleck doesn't act very much, and if he did, most of it would be hidden by Murdock's sunglasses and Daredevil's mask.

I feel the movie was just cursed all-around as Garner was mediocre and just couldn't sell Elektra, and Farrell probably gave the worst performance of his career as Bullseye, and I love this guy! There are some fun in-jokes, including appearances from Marvel's Stan Lee and onetime Daredevil writer Kevin (Chasing Amy and Dogma) Smith. But the script is flat, mostly just space between fights. Sometimes loud noises incapacitate Daredevil, sometimes they don't. He's badly injured, and then he isn't. These are continuity errors that are evidence either of laziness or, more likely, some re-cutting after early screenings, well done Mark Steven Johnson... Not!

Silver lining; Michael Clarke Duncan (rip) and the fact that we have a new brilliant take on the Devil of hell's kitchen portrayed perfectly by Charlie Cox! What's your worst Marvel film??? Thoughts? Please comment below!
