The official trailer for 'Tomb Raider has dropped and Alicia is killing it!

Alicia Vikander is stepping into the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider -- and it looks like she's absolutely killing it!

Warner Bros. released the first action-packed trailer for the film Tuesday evening, and we think it's safe to say, this is the 28-year-old actress' most badass role to date.

In the trailer, Vikander, dressed in a gray tank top and olive green pants, channels the fierceness of the old school raider Angelina Jolie, who played the character in 2001's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and the sequel, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.

"Close the tomb once and for all," a voiceover says, as Croft leaps, ducks, dives and slides around various structures. "The fate of humanity is now in your hands."

The trailer looks pretty epic, everything you want to see in a (game adaptation) trailer we see, but as we all know trailers can be very misleading, hence why I normally try to avoid them... But as I'm hoping this movie can duck the wretched game adaptation curse, I just had to check it out. The fact that Walton Goggins stars sold it for me a while ago!

Tomb Raider hits theaters March 16, 2018.
