'All The Money In The World' Review: Very Intriguing!

⭐ All The Money In The World ⭐ Review ⭐ 8/10 ⭐

What would you do if you had all the money in the world? How far would you go to save a loved one? What is your price? These are all questions you may find yourself asking whilst indulging yourself with Ridley Scott's newest flick 'All The Money In The World.'

When the film opened I wasn't really sure what to expect as we skipped back and forth through time with little to no warning as to why, but then, about 20 mins in, it unravelled itself and started to make alot more sense.

I found the whole concept quite thrilling and very intriguing and that was before I found out it was based on true events. I mean could you imagine knowing your grandfather was not only the richest man in the world but in all of history and he wouldn't pay your 17 million ransom to save your life, better yet, knowing he fucking haggled his way right down to about 2.9 million making you lose an ear in the process.

16 year old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) went through a terrible ordeal over the course of 6 MONTHS (6 bloody months!) while his grandfather (Christopher Plummer) is sat on his high horse admiring his vast art collections worth millions on there own. With her son's life in the balance, Devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) and Getty’s advisor Fletcher Chase (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

The performances from the actors and actresses above were all noteworthy and the story was strong, on the other hand, the dialogue was weak, it started off a bit shaky and Ridley needed to give a little more attention to characters, otherwise it's definetly worth a watch!
