Check out the first photos of Alicia Vikander as the famous Lara croft in 'Tomb Raider' Reboot!


Today some photos where leaked from on set of Tomb Raider where Alicia Vikander (The light between oceans) is playing the famous video game star Lara Croft and I have to say as well looking rather sexy, she actually pulls the look off. Personally I think it was a brilliant casting choice, along with the rest announced so far. 
In April, the Oscar winner Alicia Vikander was cast as Lara Croft in the reboot. Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug (“The Wave”) is directing the action-adventure movie, which is based on the popular Eidos video games that have sold more than 35 million units worldwide. Dominic West and Walton Goggins also star.
The film will take a different path from two previous “Tomb Raider” films, which starred Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft and Jon Voight as her father. Vikander’s portrayal of Croft will be in the spirit of the video game series’ 2013 reboot, which also focused on Lara Croft’s origins and her first adventure as an archaeologist.

• There Will Be Blood, 2007 • 8.2/10 • Firstly, I would like to start with Daniel Day Lewis' mesmerizing performance as the ruthless oil prospector, Daniel Plainview. 13 Hours  is very much business as usual for Bay; a barrage of noisy and largely indistinct action, most notable for an ADHD visual style that marries the silly viewpoint of a supercharged drone like a transformer for example with the editing rhythm of a Slipknot drum solo. I went into the film knowing almost nothing about the September 2012 attack on an American diplomatic compound in Libya and came out pretty much knowing even less. For the most part, Bay seemed to be aiming for the nihilism of Ridley Scott’s  Black Hawk Down,  which effectively conveyed the chaos of its real-life subject matter. Yet the chaos of 13 Hours has more to do with form than content, leaving you with the impression that it’s not story but Bay’s moviemaking that is just absolutely dire.
