THE FIRST PHOTO FROM THE HAN SOLO MOVIE SHOWS THE YOUNG CREW IN THE MILLENNIUM FALCON!!
You have probably, actually most definitely already heard that Filming on the as yet untitled Han Solo movie is now well under way, and Disney has released a picture to prove it on the official Star Wars site.
This first look at the Star Wars spin-off movie features key cast members Woody Harrelson, Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino – with Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han himself, and Joonas Suotamo (who was a body double for Peter Mayhew on The Force Awakens) taking on the role of Chewbacca.
They're pictured with directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller on set in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. OMG!
Lord and Miller are best know for heading up The Lego Movie and the 21 Jump Street films, so there's every chance this'll have the cheeky sense of humour we'd expect from a Solo solo outing.
Glover – recently cast in Disney's live action Lion King movie – will play a young Lando Calrissian, while Harrelson is portraying Garris Shrike, thought to be a mentor of young Han.
Not pictured here is Thandie Newton (WestWorld), who will also be joining the cast – although we don't know in what capacity yet.
"Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous," said Lord and Miller.
"We can't think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky."
When the shoot began, the movie's working title was revealed to be 'Red Cup' (presumably a pun on 'Solo' party cups). But we don't know the full actual, official title yet.
