Watch: Wes Anderson Reveals Title, Full Cast, and First Footage for his New Stop-Motion Animated Film and obviously it looks so cool!!


In the wake of his largest success to date with the wonderfully strangeThe Grand Budapest Hotel, filmmaker Wes Anderson has been characteristically mum about his next project while simultaneously making his next project. It’s no secret that Anderson is currently in production on a new stop-motion animated film—his next directorial effort—and that it revolves around dogs. But that’s been about it as far as details go…until today.
Indeed, in a new video Anderson has formally announced Isle of Dogs, his new film, while also unveiling the impressive (and massive) voice cast. Edward Norton leads the ensemble as a dog named Rex, with the rest of the cast filled out as follows: Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton, Kunichi Nomura, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Yoko Ono, Courtney B. Vance, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Bob Balaban, and Liev Schrieber.
This is, of course, Anderson’s second stop-motion animated feature after making his format debut with the 2009 masterpiece Fantastic Mr. Fox. Anderson’s filmmaking sensibilities are the perfect fit for this particular artform, and while plot details for Isle of Dogs are under wraps, the mere prospect of Wes Anderson + dogs + stop-motion + this cast = one of my most anticipated films currently in development.
Production is ongoing in England at the moment, and given that he only just began filming this year it’s unlikely we’ll see Isle of Dogs released before 2018, but one hopes this is only the beginning in terms of teases. I absolutely love Wes Anderson his bonkers ideas are nothing short of phenomenal. Known for his distinctive visual and sound effects this guy doesn't like the word normal I mean what even is that word, he is probably the most out of the box film creator and I love it, The best most magnificent piece of his is "The Grand Budapest Hotel" which is one of my favourite films ever if you haven't seen you must see it. 'Tomb Raider' Review: First Successful Game Adaptation! Kudos!

• Tomb Raider, 2018 • 7.9/10 • Alicia Vikander gives Lara depth and personality much like Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones. She's vulnerable, but she's also stubborn and focused to survive on her own and has never lost hope that she'll once again see her father. The story is built on the reboot of the video game series, but takes another way after the arrival at the destination where most of the action takes place. When the story follows the video game it has weaknesses (as so many games adaptations do), but when it stands on its own, it shows glimpses of coming adventures for Lara Croft that makes you want more -- much because of Vikanders grounded performance. The script is by no means perfect, the CGI was a bit spotty in places, and yes there are a few cliches and overused story devices here and there, but overall it is an enjoyable film and our first successful game adaptation! Yesss! P.S - Dominc West was the perfect choice for Mr. Croft!

'Love, Simon' Review: What A Nice Surprise!

• Love, Simon • Spoiler-Free • 8.7/10 • Well, what a surprise.... Don't get me wrong, the story of 'Love, Simon' has pretty much all been done before, just not executed as well. Bar the classic stereotypes and some cheesy moments, this film had me laughing out loud and crying even louder! Tbh when you watch a film like this, you normally expect it to try to be, too clever, too cute and too precious, but boy I have never been so far off the mark. The intelligence, depth, and charm were all legitimate and sincere here and it truly made the film into something rather special. It's funny, sweet, caring, true, real, and should pretty much be labelled a "True Story" for all its worth. The acting on all accounts was second-to-none but Josh Duhamel had the biggest tear-jerking scene going! I was sobbing like a real man!
