PREACHER SEASON 2 NEWS AND UPDATES PLUS RUTH NEGGA COULD QUIT!!


After the bizarre violent and brilliant first season, "Preacher" Season 2 is under pressure to follow up to the success of the comic book television show adaptation. Starring former "Mamma Mia" actor Dominic Cooper, the show was not afraid of embracing its weirdness and is probably one of the reasons why the season before "Preacher" Season 2 had an average of 3 million viewers per episode.

 Adapted from the brutal comic book series of the same name, the supernatural black comedy has amassed a dedicated fanbase. One of the fan favorite characters in the show is Tulip O'Hare, Played by Ruth Negga, she is the gun-wielding ex-girlfriend of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who has helped him through a lot of difficult situations. However, it looks like "Preacher" Season 2 could be facing some sad news and might be losing one of its biggest stars due to the upcoming awards season.

 According to Indie Wire, "Preacher" Season 2 star Ruth Negga made herself one of the frontrunners due to incredibly positive reception of her performance in the civil rights movie "Loving." Alongside Joel Edgerton. Debuting in Cannes Film Festival in May, the movie competed for the Palme d'Or and received a standing ovation from the notoriously picky Cannes audience. She is a very talented actress who brings the fire to preacher.

It is rumored that Negga is now torn between filming "Preacher" Season 2 and promoting "Loving." With the awards season coinciding with the production of "Preacher" season 2, executives are said to have express concern that Negga will not be able to juggle both jobs. However, it looks like the decision to come back to "Preacher" season 2 is up to Negga. I mean for me it's a no brainer, don't get me wrong the films great but in a few months time people will move on where as working on a D.C.E.U project with some really talented actors that has so much more to offer sounds the better.

 AMC has not issued any news about the premiere of "Preacher" Season 2 but it has been reported that it will premiere in summer 2017. As soon as I know more I will let you guys know.

'Tomb Raider' Review: First Successful Game Adaptation! Kudos!

• Tomb Raider, 2018 • 7.9/10 • Alicia Vikander gives Lara depth and personality much like Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones. She's vulnerable, but she's also stubborn and focused to survive on her own and has never lost hope that she'll once again see her father. The story is built on the reboot of the video game series, but takes another way after the arrival at the destination where most of the action takes place. When the story follows the video game it has weaknesses (as so many games adaptations do), but when it stands on its own, it shows glimpses of coming adventures for Lara Croft that makes you want more -- much because of Vikanders grounded performance. The script is by no means perfect, the CGI was a bit spotty in places, and yes there are a few cliches and overused story devices here and there, but overall it is an enjoyable film and our first successful game adaptation! Yesss! P.S - Dominc West was the perfect choice for Mr. Croft!

'Love, Simon' Review: What A Nice Surprise!

• Love, Simon • Spoiler-Free • 8.7/10 • Well, what a surprise.... Don't get me wrong, the story of 'Love, Simon' has pretty much all been done before, just not executed as well. Bar the classic stereotypes and some cheesy moments, this film had me laughing out loud and crying even louder! Tbh when you watch a film like this, you normally expect it to try to be, too clever, too cute and too precious, but boy I have never been so far off the mark. The intelligence, depth, and charm were all legitimate and sincere here and it truly made the film into something rather special. It's funny, sweet, caring, true, real, and should pretty much be labelled a "True Story" for all its worth. The acting on all accounts was second-to-none but Josh Duhamel had the biggest tear-jerking scene going! I was sobbing like a real man!
