'Coco' Review: Disney And Pixar Are At it Again!!

Disney and Pixar really know how to tug on them heartstrings. Coco is another prime example of how emotionally involved we all get over the films they make, you would think being that there for kids it would just be a kids film, wrong! Time and time again they release films that are perfect for the hole family, but I honestly believe some of these films including Coco are more aimed at us adults then these young kids that dare to dream!

Miguel is a young boy who dreams of being a musician, but not just any musician, the Ernesto of musicians! One big problem sits in the way of his dream, his family have completely shut themselves off from all things music, obviously there is a back story as to why, but you can watch it and find that out yourselves.

Generations upon generations of his family have all been zapateros (shoemakers) and all have not listened or even thought about the rich, beautiful sound that is music! Could you imagine that, living in a world with no music, I live for music and movies, without it I couldn't work or even get to work for that fact, I couldn't relax, be mad or sad, get in my zone, gym it, literally everything would be shit. We all have our own music that takes us to that place where we feel free, where were at peace with ourselves, the only place that you can sometimes feel sane!

Anyway so does Miguel, he eats, breathes, and sleeps music! Knowing that he can't find music a home in his family, he decides to go out and "seize the moment" for himself, hoping he can once and for all, break the "curse" that looms over his family.

When he sets out on his magical journey with his spirit guide, Dante -- the nuttiest little dog you will ever lay your eyes on -- we witness some of the most beautiful animations, music, dialogue and characters that I have seen in any Disney flick to date and it really teaches you. Coco is filled with valuable life lessons about dreaming and unconditional love, but Coco is ultimately a story about the power of relationships and why familia is so so important.
