JUST AS I THOUGHT BEN AFFLECK'S 'LIVE BY NIGHT' IS CRAP!!

BEN Affleck’s new movie, Live by Night, as I thought bombed at the box office in the US on the weekend just gone.
The movie which is about a group of Boston-bred gangsters who set up shop in balmy Florida during the Prohibition era and face off against the competition and the Ku Klux Klan, earned a shocking $7.2 million in 2,471 theatres.
Live by Night was Affleck’s directorial follow-up to the best-picture winning Argo. Written, directed and starring Affleck unfortunately, it cost $120 million to make, though rebates and tax incentives lowered its budget to roughly $87 million.
But critics said Live by Night [due out in Australia on January 26] was a step backward for Affleck, who spent much of his publicity campaign fending off questions about his plans to direct a stand-alone Batman film for Warner Bros (I hope not). The studio, which declined to comment, estimates Live by Night will make a meer $8.9 million over the four-day weekend.
I've been saying for the last two months that it would be undeniably crap, and by the sounds of it so far I was bang on the money unlike Affleck.
