THE AMAZING WILLEM DAFOE JOINS BRANAGH'S NEW FILM ADAPTION OF AGATHA CHRISTIE'S "MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS"

The amazing Willem Dafoe has joined the cast of Kenneth Branagh’s new film adaptation of Agatha Christie’s acclaimed 1934 mystery novel “Murder on the Orient Express” for 20th Century Fox.
Branagh stars as Belgian detective Hercule Poirot who, while onboard the famous Paris-Istanbul train, must solve the murder of an American businessman (Johnny Depp). The trouble is, any of the passengers are potential suspects.
Dafoe will play a train passenger named Mr. Hardman, who claims to sell typewriting ribbons but might have ties to the victim. He joins an ensemble that also includes Dame Judi Dench, Sir Derek Jacobi, Penelope Cruz, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Michael Pena, Josh Gad, Tom Bateman, Leslie Odom Jr. , and Lucy Boynton.
Dafoe appears in numerous upcoming films including the Matt Damon-led “The Great Wall,” Netflix’s adaptation of the acclaimed manga “Death Note,” and plays the same key supporting character in both “Justice League” and “Aquaman”.
Michael Green (“Blade Runner 2049”) wrote the screenplay while Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg, Mark Gordon and Branagh are producing with filming currently underway in the United Kingdom.
It's going to be interesting seeing if Josh Gad can play a more serious role with no singing nor comedy, well that is unless we see him bop out with the frozen theme tune mid murder, but I highly doubt that anyway i digress. This is his first proper serious role in the film industry and I look forward to what he brings to the table.
Look out for Michael Pena (Ant Man) who has been in may fine film's and will surely put his stamp on the flick. The young talented Daisy Ridley (The Force Awakens) is another to look out for.
