THE MAMOA-MAN TO STAR IN JUST CAUSE MOVIE!

Despite seemingly pushing against good advice, the video game adaptations keep on coming. Jason Momoa, who can usually be found as Aquaman in the DC movies these days, has signed on to star in a cinematic version of Square Enix game Just Cause.
The plot for the film is being kept quiet, but will likely take inspiration from the original game, which follows Rico Rodriguez (Momoa), who works as an operative for an organisation called the Agency. After a crisis of conscience during a mission, he strikes out on his own.
San Andreas director Brad Peyton is behind the camera for this one, which has been written by Master And Commander's John Collee. And it brings Peyton back in collaboration with Momoa after Netflix drama Frontier. Just Cause will probably be in development for a while given Momoa's Aquaman schedule and Peyton working on Rampage with Dwayne Johnson.
