NETFLIX HAVE ONLY GONE AND CANCELLED SENSE8!! WTF?

So I'm extremely overwhelmed with frustration right now as Netflix have just announced that Sense8 has been cancelled after two seasons, the news coming a week after The Get Down was axed after just one.

What does this mean, well I will tell you what this bloody means. It means that not only had we all been waiting around desperately for an inordinate amount of time for season 2 to watch some of the most mindboggling, mouth-watering brilliance I have almost ever scene. We finally got to see it in its prime, after the slow build-up's had come to a cease and the action was going off with a bang. Things where all starting to make a lot more sense especially with the cluster hot on whispers tail (or was it the other way round???) it was all starting to flow. And now BOOM, taken away just like that, in a blink of an eye (what the fu**). Then there is the main problem.... What the fu** was gonna happen to Wolfgang ?

The sci-fi series from The Matrix creators Lana and Lilly Wachowski was presumably struggling in terms of viewers, though Netflix doesn't publicly disclose its ratings. Even though they don't have a massive fan base (just shy of 100,000) they have got some great ratings, from the likes of imdb who gave it an 8.4/10 out of 87,000 people, rotten tomatoes have given it a 79% score and finally with the best rating out of the three is tv.com with 8.7/10.

"After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end," Cindy Holland, Netflix's vp original content, said in a statement. "It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kickass and outright unforgettable.

"Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world.

"We thank Lana, Lilly, Joe and Grant [Hill] for their vision and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment."

Sense8 joins the short list of other cancelled Netflix shows, alongside Marco Polo, Lilyhammer, Hemlock Grove, Bloodline and, most recently, The Get Down.
